Welcome to Flaming Gorge. This place was so beautiful once we got to the lake or got in the truck and drove in the canyon a bit. Usually this place is beautiful all over no matter where you go but there was a fire that hit dutch john a few years ago and as you can see in the pictures our campground was far from gorgeous but we sure had a BLAST! A big thank you you to Papa and Grandma for partying with us, feeding us good food and for having lots of car talk. maybe one day we will figure it all out. :) Love ya Stacy ;)
Also a big thank you to uncle Stan and Aunt toni for extending us the invitation. We really enjoyed you and your families company. Lots of love and best of luck to you through the rest of your summer adventures.
Tre' just causing trouble :) he was seriously amazing on this trip. We were a little worried cause of the 4 hour drive and the heat but we would have been bored without this bug. I love you buggy.
This is Tre' and his new friend and cousin Colton. Together they learned to share and sipped on each others chocolate milk
Me and the Dad.
Ahhhhhh............ my boys
Ahhhhhh, so sweet
This wetsuit made this trip possible for Tre'. as many of you know he is so skinny and shivers in heated pools so, when we decided we were going to make this trip we knew he had to have a wetsuit or there was no way he would survive the river.
A few nights before we started our adventure we went on the search for a suit. the smallest size they make for toddlers is a size 1 and just our luck a boys size 1 was to big. GRRRRRR
So after a bit of contemplation we tried on a girls size 1 to see if it would make a difference and............ WA LA, it did!!!!! Pink is totally in the days for boys so Tre' rocked it!
Papa and Grandma
Grandma was not a camper when she arrived but on the drive home she was already planninh the next trip. :) YAHOO! When is that by the way?

Nice to meet you great Grandma
Aunt Pim and GG
Left to Right: Paul, Great Grandma, GG, Me, Tre', Aunt Pim and Uncle Keith
Complete sweetness! I love my Grandma with or without her wig ;) Our last night in town Grandma took her wig off in front of Tre' and he stopped dead in his tracks, grabbed my hand and said "Mom, what is she doing?" It was HILARIOUS!
Thank you Paul for taking me to Oregon to visit my Grandma! This was one of the best weekends that we have had in a long time and what better way to spend it then with this long over do visit to see grandma.
Grandma is 88 and it has been about 4 years since the last time we saw her. Her body is aching like a old woman and since Grandma can't make the 8 hour drive to us anymore we made it to her.
Thank you to GG fro staying there an extra we so that we could have some good family time together.
Tre' really attached to Great Grandma and her walker. ha ha ha Great Grandma is so incredibly deaf even with the hearing aids in and trying to get a 2 year old to understand that you have to yell at her to talk is a bit hard but, there was one instance we were sitting in the yard with Great Grandma and Tre' leaned his head on her lap and said, "Grandma, I love being at your house." Grandma sure heard that and Tre' was not yelling, just bring sweet. That little moment made Grandma SO happy.

Happy 4th Of Jluy!
Happy 4th of July to all YUNS who are reading this. I know that is a bit belated but I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend as much as we did. (The pictures will come soon, Promise!)
It was a Fabulous weekend for us with a bit of craziness but I will get there........
We started our weekend off by spending the 3rd with Paul's family playing in the swimming pools, eating AWESOME burgers, jello and many other things that Sara so thoughtfully prepared for all of us as well as enjoying the company of all the family being together.
The firework show was great thanks to YaYa and Papa. I am greatful for the times that we have to be with our families. What a blessing they are to us.
We also got to spend some time with my mom, eating food (oh how there was A LOT of that this weekend, so much that I am not even going to mention that as part of what we did anymore on this post :)) During the time with my mom we played in the water, painted our toes (glitter style) which is awesome if you have not yet heard of glitter toes they ROCK and last forever!
And then to top it all off we got to see my Dad and Stacy Grandma as well. We really enjoy the time that we get to spend with them as well. We are very lucky to have Stacy Grandma in our lives. Why? becasue when your parents get re-married as many of you may have experienced, it is not that great of an outcome and that is not the case with Stacy Grandma at all, we love her and she loves us!
We also had the pleasure of Natalie and baby sophie joining us. Tre' was lovin' on his baby Sophie. It was so cute! Her being there made him very hyper and in his hyperness he tripped and ran into the corner of one of our walls with his head. Oh yeah, needless to say our next stop for the evening was not the park, or to see fireworks it was the ER.
Our little bug was the toughest guy ever......... you are not going to believe this but they gave him NO sedation, NONE, just numbed he area with topical and let that sit for about 45 minutes. At that point doctor Steve came in and asked Tre' if he would like to have a water fight. Duh, Tre' was all over that! The only problem was that at this point Tre' was all wrapped up and he did not have a free hand to have a water fight. Poor guy! He loves water fights.
After we got Tre' laid down he started screaming cause he knew something was up at this point, the doctor did not waste any time and started injecting the lidocaine, oh my poor baby, thank goodness to a sweet lady who brought in a buzz toy, he stopped crying immediatley and believe it or not fell asleep and started snoring. HA HA HA He is halerious! Paul and I along with doctor Steve and the nurses were all laughing. No one could believe that he was sleeping through this madness. What a trooper!
All in all our 4th of july weekend was so great and Tre''s head is getting better. Thank you to everyone for wanting to be with us over the holiday and for being so concerned about Tre'. We love you and and Happy 4th of July!
Come back soon to see pictures.
