NO AdULTs ALLOWed!!!!

Once a week YaYa does preschool with the grandkids and boy oh boy are those kiddos lucky to have a YaYa who wants them to learn and have fun as amuch as possible.
How are the kids suppose to be themselves and focus on what they are learning with their parents over their shoulders watching and critiquing their every move. Besides they don't need multiple voices giving them instruction.
YaYa has taught Tre' his alphabet. He can sing the alphabet song, write and recognize most of the letters. There are a few he struggles with and those letters are taped on the kitchen wall and we go over a letter a night at dinner. He is catching on.
Tre' knows the pledge of allegiance by heart. SERIOUS SERIOUS. It is so cute to hear him recite it. THere are a few books that he LOVES to read to you. They have been read to him so often that he has them memorized page by page. my favorite part is when he bring home is book fro preschool and gets me to sit down so that he can read me the book he learned to read. I eat it up!
The point of this post is......... I always want to be apart of preschool to see what goes on and why it makes Tre' so happy and I got to. I got to be apart of his learning. It was a very small portion of it, only the craft but I was there. That is the point.
It is amazing to me all the effort and time that goes into getting preschool ready for 4 little kiddos every single week. She does so much with them, a craft, the pledge of allegiance, singing time, weather, calendar, the letter of the day and I am sure there is more.
Thank you Yaya for teaching Tre' and helping him to grow into a little man. I am very grateful.

Waiting for instruction..........

They are building a chick chick
Hard at work :)
The final touches
The final product.......
The chick chick! It's wings are Tre's little hands :) So cute!

Jungle Jim's = Happy kiddos

Today I had the day off and I decided that I would let Tre' make the plans for the day. Because the weather was looking a bit gloomy this morning I recommended going to get Takoma and bring her to our place to try out the new basketball hoop. (inside)
Anyway, Tre' said "no, you play it outside. How about I call her and we go to Jungle Jim's?"
Well, alrighty then. Off to Jungle Jim's we went.
Time out............. We had to have an early lunch at McDonald's first and play there cause we were a little to early for Jungle Jim's
My question is, why in the world does a kid center play place open at 11? Are they not aware what time kids wake up? Come on people!

I would also like to say THANK YOU Auntie KyKy for making this fun day happen. We loved it!

These two on this roller coaster are hilarious! I it even better with Zoey squished in the middle. Good times!

Easter with the Asay's

He looks,
H+e shoots,

He scores!

What a happy Easter. We enjoyed a delicious ham dinner and jiggler eggs that I look forward to every year (Thank you Sara)

We had an Easter egg hunt. Every year Brent and Wendy do an egg hunt for the kids and grandkids. This is not just any kind of hunt though, it is a money hunt. They hide the eggs all over the yard and let us loose. This tear was a blast for me because Tre' got the hang of it and I got to be the picture taker.Thank you Bent adn Wendy! The first money egg....

Good Mornig Dad and Happy Easter to you Kyla, Jimmy, Joey and Natalie!

We started our day off with an Easter egg hunt and family pictures at La Jardin with G.G.. This was a lot of fun and we were happy that even though G.G. had to work that we got to spend some time with her. Thank you G.G. for inviting us.
After we headed the village Inn for breakfast and then off for more hunting. We had a hunt with Auntie Ni Ni and our good friend Angie and her family. let's just say this hunt started at the 30 yard line and went all the way into touchdown territory. Serious!!! Imagine tht many eggs on a football field and 4 kids handle them no problem :) CRAZY!!!!
Then after that we partied with Grandma Stacy. Eith lots of fun and as always a delicious dinner.
Thank you everyone for such a fun day. I don't think any of us will have a hard time sleeping tonight.
There will be a bit more to come caue we get to party with Asay's tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

The dying of the eggs. The best part if you ask me. Well, next to watching the kids run in circles looking for eggs when they have already passed TONS to get just the one.

The hunt......
Tre' is totally stoked about his new sunglasses. Thank you Poppa!!!!

Hat making and chilling with the fam..... (I know this picture is a little blurry Papa but, I wanted you to know that Mom is happy and fine! xoxoxo)

New Port Beach

This is where it all started,

And this is where we are now, just the 3 of us!

Our last day on vacation Cody and Aaron took us over to New Port Beach. I was so excited about this becuase this is where Paul and I met. Not, where we fell in love, but where we met. To the weekend 6 years ago. I spent a lot of time walking the beach. I was determined to find the house we met at during Spring Break. After a long walk, and a lot of changes being made to LOTS of homes on the beach (heaven forbid they change) I never found the house. I settled with the fact that we were there together where we first met and that was enough. :) We "chilled" at the beach in our sweaters and once we had had enough we went to have dinner once again at the Mexican restaurant. Thank you Codi and Aaron for inviting us on your vacation. We are so glad that we got to come with you. Thank you for the company and for letting Tre' be your buddy. Hope you all ENOJY!!!!!

The infamous Disneyland post

Here it is, from the beginning..............We were invited by some friends of ours to join them for a week away at their condo right on Laguna Beach. I mean right on the beach!!!! Their condo has it's on private beach and we were loving it.

This is Codi who invited us on this FABULOUS adventure (THANK YOU Codi and Aaron)

The first day there was a bit rainy but when that all cleared up it was shovels, sand buckets, sand castle building, boogie boarding (a first for our friend Aaron) and some sun bathing.

Time to play, the beach and Tinkerbell's arms were Tre''s happy places on this trip.

Trying to make a looking music while looking studly in the downtown Lagoona
Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Whose was more excited, Me or Tre'..............

This Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza was the BOMB! Totally my favorite part of breakfast.

Tinkerbell, here we come. This was the longest line we waited in to meet princesses. Tre' was very insistent on waiting in this line. Paul and I went with it cause this day was all about Tre'. Once we say Tink and the hugging lasted forever it was more than worth the wait.

Speed racer Tre'! He has hope that one day he can touch the gas pedal and steer at the same time. Next time, he wants to be able to "drive me" he says.
Pricesses her we come!!!! We were taking a break at this point in the day by riding the train around that park. As we got to Toon Town the conductor announced this is where you meet Mickey and his friends but, also where the princess are. Tre' heard that and off the train we had to get. Straight to waiting in line to meet these 4 princesses followed by a princess show. Oh yeah!
Ariel.....
Snow White (Tre''s new girlfriend, serious he got the kiss and ALL her attention to prove it. I don't think Snow White noticed all the little girls who were waiting to meet her) Hilarious!
Tre''s favorite princess (before Snow White showed such interest)
Tiana..............

On to the man stuff, car building. They have a shop in Downtown Disney called "Build your own car" Like Build a bear. You thought bears were expensive to build......... DON"T go in here!!!!
It was a fun experience nut the big remote control cars at Toys R Us are half the price and WAY better.

The View from the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Codi took us to this AMAZING Mexican restaurant the first night in town and oh my goodness it is the best Mexican I have ever had. For starters, when you order a side of guacamole it comes "table side". This means that they bring all the ingredients to your table and make it fresh. Oh my goodness, it was heavenly! Then you have your meal of deliciousness (there were many good decisions we all shared around the table) and fill in the cracks with the one and only fried ice cream. One of my favorite things. It's a good thing it is hard ti find when we are at home.
Mickey House, we only walked through a little before having to make a rush exit for the potty. Mickey was not met on this trip. Maybe next time.
